Adriaen van Stalbernt (1580–1662)

Flemish painter Adriaen von Stalbemt, who focused primarily on landscapes combined with religious, mythological, and allegorical scenes. His style can be described as eclectic. He was influenced by Jan Brueghel the Elder and at a later stage of his life by Hendrick van Balen. The painting displays perfect brushstrokes and notable execution of details. The painting is lined with forest on both sides with views of the river bank. In the foreground is a group of duck hunters, in the background a greenish landscape in bluish shades.
