Ink and colours on paper. Hanging scroll, brocade mounting. Aizen Myóó is the god of love among Japan’s Esoteric sects. The King of Sexual Passion, he converts earthly desires into spiritual awakening; saving people from the pain that comes with love. Shown with three faces, three eyes and six arms, wearing a crown containing a lion mask among his high hairstyle. He has a red body, symbolising the power to purify sexual desire, and carries a bow and arrow.
