NAGAMAKI IN KOSHIRAE

Signed: Hoshu Takada ju Fujiwara Munekage, with the number "16" and the inscription "the 8th day of the month". The numeral is repeated on the inner side of the scabbard and most likely indicates the position in a set, which undoubtedly was created at the time of the blade's forging, i.e. the end of the 16th century.
