Signed: Izumi no kami Fujiwara Kunisada和泉守藤原国貞. Nagasa: 71.5 cm, sori 1.8 cm. Blade type: hon zukuri. Curve type: tori zori, iori mune, chu kissaki. Temper line: nie deki suguha with komidare, ashi, nioi kuzure, active habuchi. Forging pattern: koitame hada with chikei, Ósaka bóshi. Mounting: ginpaku nijú habaki, high level shirasaya 2nd generation of Kunisada, latter famous as Inoue Shinkai, "Masamune of Osaka", one of most important swordsmiths of the shinto period. The sword is from the property of a prominent politician from the Koizumi family and was exhibited in the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno. NBTHK kanteisho.
