Provenance: from the estate of Czech actress Eva Kubesova, star of the 1952 film "Zítra se bude tančit všude" (Tomorrow we will dance everywhere), which was extremely popular with Chinese audiences. The painting was officially presented to her by Chinese officials during her tour of China in 1956.
