The vase has a higher tapering foot, and a long cylindrical neck on whose upper edge are fixed two cylindrical "arrow rings". The articulation highlights the horizontal bands on the foot, shoulder, and at the edges of the rings where the bands wind around the vase’s neck. The arrow rings together with the neck served as a target for the game "touhu" (throwing arrows into the vase).
