A SMALL BRONZE FIGURE OF STANDING BODHISATTVA

The small bronze statue depicting a bodhisattva standing on a tall conical pedestal segmented by two horizontal ribs. Long slender body, simple drapery around hips and on the breast. On both sides of the figure the clothing creates wave-like creases falling down. The left hand falls down alongside the body, the right hand is bent in the elbow and raised up. The long oblong face is indistinct, the hair is lifted up in a schematically depicted chignon. Over the shoulder and head there spans a heart-like openwork halo decorated with a flame décor.
