| Short item descriptionThe Bodhisattva meticulously cast with downcast eyes, the serene face framed by an ornate five-pointed tiara, the elongated earlobes embellished with floral earrings, a scarf falling in finely gathered folds over the shoulders and arms amongst armlets and further elaborate necklaces and jewelled dhoti covering the elegantly swaying torso and hips, the left hand held in front of the chest, the right hand held over the knee, the right leg stretched out in lalitasana and the left leg folded atop the crisply-cast double-lotus pedestal. |

Ve středu 10. prosince 2014 pořádá Galerie Arcimboldo prestižní aukci Čínské umění a starožitnosti s celkovou vyvolávací cenou přes 34 milionů korun. Aukce nabídne celkem 275 vybraných uměleckých děl, jmenujme například výjimečnou sbírku bronzových buddhistických figur, kvalitní porcelán z období dynastie Ming nebo kolekci nefritů. Opravdové skvosty najdeme též v sekci mistrovských obrazů čínského moderního malířství. Zde jsou zastoupeni proslulí autoři jako Čchi Paj-š', od něhož nabídneme jedenáct děl, z nichž nejvýznamnější jsou obrazy „Sedící rybář“ a „Lotosy”, dále Li Kche-žan se svitkem „Pasáčci na buvolech”, Čang Ta-čchien a jeho „Horské hřebeny v mlze”, Čchen Pan-ting a jiní .
